So idk how i was making my gpu go to full 100% load but i was getting 500 fps, but with 25-35% load i can hit 200. but i asked people in LFG chat on wow classic to msg me if they are on rtx 3070 and the ppl i spoke with said they're using 40-50% loads with 200 fps no vsync. Then today bios update/reinstall windows and now my fps is running good, 200 fps before vsync.idk what was wrong before re-install. but 3d mark wasnt working with cam but was on wow.which is odd?įirst day i built my pc, cam showed 100% load with 500 frames, i didnt try vsync until last night but 3 nights ago i got 220 fps, then next day 70-100 and turn on vsync and same thing

Well ttoday first time i try 2nd software until today, using aorus gpu software so it had to be correct. So wow gpu usage on cam shows up properly, just not 3dmark? odd. Ok so it is cam, i used auros to check my usage during 3dbenchmark and it went to 100% but on cam it said 0%-1%, gonna load wow and i bet it shows up proper on cam as my gpu software i gotta find another way to check gpu loads Mayb cam is messing up my gpu readings? but my fps did get better after reinstall. i did a test yesterday but dont remember checking load but got basically same score both timesĪnd did this one, best score yet, but gpu said 0-1% on cam? wtf lol Gonna do 3dmark again and it should put it on 100% load. Guess it makes sense that something like wow classic should only need to push to 40-50% of gpu for rtx 3070 to get 144 fps? better than the 70-90 fps I was getting, I think i got a 100% load on gpu before changing dram freq to 3600mhz, gonna go change it back and see if it goes to a 100% load. my load is up to 30-50% with a constant 144frames in wow with vsync on.

I did a bios update + windows fresh install. Temps of my gpu in game are 42c.it's not even pushing the gpu at all?

Im on an rtx 3070 aorus / ryzen 5 5600x / 32gb vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz ram / msi b550 mpg carbon fiber wifi mobo. I also had xmp issues getting my 32gb ram to 3600mhz but ended up using dram frequency to get it set with proper timing. My cam software shows below 30 fps / avg fps and didn't notice it until yesterday that my fps has dipped a lot, then took a look at my gpu usage and saw it went down by A LOTTT. not sure if this is good? keeping my gpu from full load and wear and tear on it by running the game smooth with lowest load or if I should be using more load on my gpu to get 150+ minimum full time for my 144 hz monitor? Now i'm on a new monitor, possibly new windows update and now my gpu usage is around 15%-20% with same settings but fps stays around 120, lowest at 70. but my FPS has dropped. Not sure but on wow classic, first day I played I was at 400-500+ FPS with max settings but 100% gpu load when playing. Here is the same run using stock settings:Īt the 5 minute mark my Current CPU temp is 85c, and my Current GPU temp is 85c. In the first test I used XTU to change the multipliers to the maximum, 36x,35x,34x,34x cores, and 36x cache, and set -50mV CPU/cache voltage offset to reduce the temperature.Īnd I used Asus Tweak to OC the GPU to max 932/6250 My G750JH is a different model, but here is an example of using snipping tool to take a snap shot at 5 minutes in during a run including what the monitoring tools are seeing:Īt the 5 minute mark my Current CPU temp is 85c, and my Current GPU temp is 85c. I am running the prime95 small fft test, the one that generates the most CPU heat, you have to select it when starting the test threads:įor Furmark I have the newest on 1.15.0.0, running the Burnin test. Then we can all compare other related readings all taken at the same time. It helps to shoot a shot of the monitoring tools while running the tests to upload and share. I've just run both Furmark and Prime95 just now on my BIOS 204 G751JT-CH71, for 15 minutes each.īRSxIgnition, those temps are really low, and so are stoop14's, if we are all measuring the same thing at the same time.
